Reet Laube started her musical path at the age of seven in Võru, Estonia. She is a double M.A. graduate, the first one obtained from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (Tallinn, 2007) and the second one from The Royal Danish Academy of Music (Copenhagen, 2009). In Copenhagen her inspirations and leaders of the accordion class were prof. Geir Draugsvoll (Norway) and prof. James Crabb (Scotland). In her musical career, she has done cooperations with many woodwind soloists and string quartets. Her repertoire as an accordion soloist varies from contemporary music to lighter classical.


Reet Laube has performed in all around Europe including countries like the United Kingdom, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Iceland and many others. She has collaborated with multiple internationally known musicians, just to mention few: Galya Kolarova - piano (Bulgaria), Tobias String Quartet (Estonia), Sandra Skov Nielsen - accordion (Denmark), Erica Roozendaal - accordion (The Nethernlands), Jānis Ansons - clarinet (Latvia), Johanna Tuvi -bassoon, Heimo Hodanjonok and Tõnu Kalm - clarinet , Tanel Aavakivi - trumpet, Margus Tammemägi - percussions, Karl Laanekask - guitar, Aivar Eimra - double bass (Estonia).


Her first album "Lähenemine" (La Demarche/Approach) was released by NGO Kõrvipalu Loometalu, and designed by Valev Laube Design in 2012. Starting from 2015 this album is also available all over the world through the major music sites as iTunes, Spotify etc.


Since 2002 she is using for concert performances always PIGINI accordion model Master 58/B which has superb size and lightness for her and even after many years it looks like she got it yesterday as it always gives out the best sound quality.
